Working Hard

We are almost halfway through the third nine weeks.  Time is going quickly, but the snow days helped with that!  We are finishing up our colonial brochures, which we have been working on for several weeks.  We will then continue to prepare for the writing test and then move on to a research project.  Remember to keep studying your spelling words.  Next week will be suffixes.

Back At It

The second semester is back in full swing! We are working on preparing for the writing assessment coming up in February. We will also begin having a weekly spelling list, unless it's an abbreviated week. Check the calendar for upcoming events!

I can't believe I've already been out a month. I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying Mr. Overstreet. Baby Turner is growing so fast! I hope to come by the fall festival and see all your smiling faces.

Wow!

It's hard to believe we are nearing the end of our second week of school.  It has been great so far! I am so encouraged my our students wonderful manners and eagerness to learn. Keep up the great work!
